A long mile journey begins with a step
Friends and Partners in development,
It has been an incredibly journey of personal growth, development and learning for me being part of the Changemakers Sport for a Better World Competition, a collaboration of Ashoka and Nike. The competiton has ended and the winners have being annouced. I am one of the peope who would have loved SEDYEL to be amongst the three wiiners, but it did not turn out that way, having said that, we at SEDYEL are currently celebrating the opportunity we got through partcipating in the competition…we are the winners too.
On behalf of the SEDYEL Youth Leaders, I would to thank all of you, who have supported us in the competition and to all those who posted those wonderful, insightful comments about our entry, we are proud to be associated with you, and we are very glad that you saw possibilities of making the world a better place for young people in our program. I would like to belive that this was the first step in our long mile journey that we are embarking on to give young people across the world a sporting chance.
All my love,
Kitso Masi
